A modern love story set in a timeless French château.
We had the absolute joy of photographing & filming for Ellie & Amin’s elegant wedding at Chateau La Durantie a few weeks ago. Tucked away in the sun-soaked countryside of southwest France. From the moment we arrived, the tone was set: effortless style, old-world architecture, and a bold, black-and-white palette that felt both fashionable and classic.
Every detail was intentional — from the bow off the back of her mums old wedding dress perfectly framed in her memory to her dad’s sentimental cufflinks. Even the table layout matched the theme perfectly, with sleek black cutlery and crisp white linens mixed with lilys (our new favourite flower!)
As photo and film storytellers, we love when couples take risks with their styling — and as for Ellie & Amin, they nailed it. The emotional vows under the cypress trees. Getting soaked from the champagne tower and taken cover from the heat under their elegant Japanese umbrella. It truly was the perfect day to celebrate a wonderfully fun and bubbly couple.
